Today, we had a very sensory and enjoyable day. We started with making circle collages. Each child had a paper with a big circle on it. Then, they had an assortment of circle objects to glue on the paper. There was pompoms, stickers, buttons, bottle tops, shiny silver circles, and even some hair bands brought in by Leora! Thank you to all the children who brought something in!
After breakfast, we walked to a park with swings and lots of climbing equipment. It also had some big courts in which we played. Behind the yard was a big surprise. There was a Police horse there! We got to go over and look at the horse.
On our way home, we discussed how much we love our mother and all the wonderful things she does for us. When we got back to school, we began to make a special gift just for our Mother.
Later on, we learned that 49 days after the Jewish people left Egypt/Mitzrayim, they received the Torah. We are so excited to get the Torah and to celebrate Shavuos, we have started counting the days till Shavuos.
