Fire fighter and Police Officer

Today, we reviewed all the community helpers we've learned already. We said a Rabbi helps us in Shul?synnnaguague. A storekeeper helps us in the grocery store. A baker bakes cookies, cakes, and bread in a Bakery. A fire fighter helps when there is a fire. A morah helps the children in school.
Then we learned about a new Friend - the Police Officer. We read a book about a little puppy that gets lost and a police officer helps him find his home. We said Police officers are our friends and are here to help us.
We also did an experiment in class. We asked "How does a fire fighter put out the fire?" Morah Perel lit our shabbos candles and we watched as she squirted water from her water bottle on the flames. We then realized that the fire fighter use water to put out the fire!
Photos will be coming soon!

Photos from last week

Today, we experiement with wet chalk on black paper. Then by circle time, the yeladim got turns to dress up as fire fighters. When another child dialed 911 on the pretend phone, the "fire fighters" would come from our kitchen center making fire truck noises.

We had a great day.  Here are pictures from last week.
