Succos week

All the yeladim are really adjusting well to school. We practice shaking the lulav and esrog. First we used the play lulav and esrog and then today we got to shake a real lulav and esrog!
We are also practicing dancing with our play Torah because Simchas Torah is coming.

Dot-to-dot Sukkah art

We started our day decorating our succah paper. We can't wait to hang it up in our succah at home. Then we had our Morning Meet. We're starting to learn our morning songs and sing along.

By play time, Morah Perel and Morah Bella opened up our sensory table and we got to feel and scoop up foam peanuts.

Wow!  This is interesting!

After our music and movement, we went outside to see our succah. After that morahs said they had a surprise and we got to go to the nearby playground!! We had an amazing time!

Our First Full Day!!

Wow! What a wonderful first day! It wasn't easy saying good-bye at first, but we all got involved in our play dough pretty quickly.

After that, we had our Morning Meet. We davened to Hashem, gave Tzeddakah and kissed our little Torahs.

We ate breakfast so nicely in our special seats.

After breakfast, we got to play with all of our toys. So many yeladim shared with each other and practiced asking for a toy our friend was playing with instead of grabbing.

Then we cleaned up together really quickly and gathered our chairs into a circle for some Music and Movement. We sang ""if you're happy and you know it", "head, shoulders, knees, and toes, "get up and dance", and "hokey poky". Yeladim can sing these songs at home with their parents. Then, we went to play in the back room.

Before we knew it, it was lunch time. We ate a delicious lunch with our friends and got ready for nap time.

Orientation - Small Group 2

Wow! Morah Bella and Morah Perel really enjoyed meeting Etelle, Reuven, Lance, Rochelle, and Leora. We had so much fun playing with play dough. We learned our songs for Morning Meet and ate a nutritious breakfast together.
Tomorrow all the children will meet each other and get to stay long enough to play with our great toys. Again parents will be in the room with their children.

Orientation - Small Group

Morah Bella and Morah Perel had so much fun with Benny, Gabriel, Estee, Yakira, and Ilan. We got to play with play dough and make interesting creations. We had our first Morning Meet and learned a lot of new songs. We had breakfast together and even had time for a little playtime.
We can not wait to meet Leora, Etelle, Lance, Reuven, and Rochelle tomorrrow.

Orientation - Meeting for the First Time

Today Morah Bella and Morah Perel got to meet so many wonderful children and their parents. We can't wait till Monday when the children will get to meet their new friends. We decorated an apple in honor of Rosh Hashana and got to play with the toys in our new classroom.
