Shapes

On Wednesday, Morah Perel showed us that two triangles make a star. Then we made our own stars and collaged it with white tissue paper. Then we sprinkled it silver glitter.

On Thursday, we reviewed all three shapes, circle, triangle, and square. We glued a big shape of each on our paper and then sorted through a mixture of small shapes. We matched small circles to our large circle and so forth. By circle time, we reviewed what we had learned about the sky and then talked about the ground. We discussed that there is water and ground. We live on the ground, but fish live in the water. Then we made an ocean collage and added fish stickers.
