Aleph Beis in the Torah

Today, we had a special surprise. When we came to class, we went straight to breakfast. After breakfast , we got our coats on and went next door to the shul. There we met Rabbi Dovid, who takes care of our school’s shul. We have discussed in class that a Rabbi takes care of the shul by making sure that the Torahs and Siddurim are in their correct places and making sure it stays clean. Rabbi Dovid took a big Torah out of the Aron Kodesh and opened for us. Then he help us find our letter in the Torah. It was very special to see the Torah up close.  Afterwards, we did our morning davening in the shul like big people!

When, we got back to class, we saw our Aleph Beis chart covered with honey. We tasted the honey and it was so sweet. Aleph Beis are sweet like honey.
